I have lost my cat and what should i do next?

I lost my cat on the 9th of June, and he went missing without a trace. The similar thing happened to our older cat sumo, but she was stolen. Im worried that the same thing happened to Austin, my cat. I have knocked on peoples doors, put up posters, contacted the vets and put an advert on a website. What should i do?
