Question about ceremony music- violins?

I hired a violin and cello for my wedding but honestly, I was oblivious to my own song choices as I came down the aisle ;) I'm sure they did a great job but I was hardly listening. But I got a good deal because I contacted the music dept of the local college and asked if any students would play my ceremony and cocktail hour for $200 ea for two hours. It worked out great.
