Joining Army or Navy?

The navy recruiter told me that if i joined the Army i would not get the job i desire and they are going to put me where they need me. I am in hopes of getting a construction job. I have decided between The Navy Sea-bees or the Army for a construction job. Anyone know which is better for construction and which i am more likely to get the job i want.
