HELP! Sims 2 Downloads, Please!?

I'm looking for websites that I can easily download hair/clothes/eyes/etc; onto my Sims 2 games. Only problem is, I'm a complete noob at this stuff, and I can't find all but one website (mod the sims) which is under construction. And plus, I don't know how to download stuff from there. I need an easy way to get new clothes and etc; onto my Sims 2 game!
